Each PowerOn™ upgrade that is released requires modifications to utilities' customizations, code, and logic. InMaps takes the pain of this complex process away from its clients. We have built a robust methodology to ensure that customizations and glue code are all considered during an upgrade.

InMaps developed the CIS (Banner) Interface to enable Customer Service Representatives to instantly access customer circuit information upon receipt of a call so that they can have an informed dialogue with the customer. CIS (Banner) Interface is a unique trouble call interface between a Banner CIS implementation and PowerOn™ as well as a Topology and Outage History interface from PowerOn™ to Banner. The latter is an extension to the PowerOn™ Archiver and makes all PowerOn™ data available to the Customer Services Representatives in their CIS application. The topology interface pushes connectivity information for every customer from transformer to substation back to the billing system.

During an outage, efficiency in communication is key. Has power been restored to affected customers? The customer knows the answer. InMaps has developed Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Callback to automate this information gathering process. IVR Callback will automatically call affected customers to confirm that they have power as soon as an outage is closed. If they do not, they are asked to simply press a button on their phone and the outage is automatically reopened with the difference in outage times being reconciled automatically.
